Turning Shit into Gold since 2006
If there is any band in the music world best fit to explain the miracles of the universe it is most definitely not the Insane Clown Posse. With their daily face paint applications and constant rhythmic verbal diarrhea upchucks, overweight and dreadlockless, Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope reveal more than the Seven Wonders of the World in their new music video for a song called “Miracles”.
For a band that has spent the better part of their career rapping about sexually explicit material, drug use, white trash inequality, and dysfunctional family life, it is quite surprising to hear them tackle a subject as inspiring as the recognition and appreciation of everyday miracles. It goes to show that these grammatically challenged word masters see their cotton candy buckets half full instead of half empty.
They so gingerly let little Juggalos know that if you plant a seed, nature will grow. What a great message for this generation seeped in technology. To quote the clowns themselves, pure mother fucking magic, right?
There is one portion of the music video, besides the part where they fly up into outer space on a penis shaped space ship where their intergalactic interconnectedness comes into question. Shaggy 2 Dope lashes out at the scientific community by calling all scientists liars who piss him off. Sure the theory of refrigerator magnets is confusing, but that does not mean that it cannot be explained in a calm tone that would make sense to even the most Fuego coated brain.
Why even take the time to dabble in the new found world views of such a mind numbing band, but listen people, bad music happens to good people and I have had a sick fascination with ICP and its Juggalo culture for some time. The “Miracles” music video is proof that even the sickest clown can find peace in the transformation of caterpillar into butterfly.
